COMMERCIAL -Shakespear's Globe - 'The God of Soho'

Big God’s mind is crumbling, Mrs God has lost her looks and they can’t stop arguing. Their daughter, the Goddess of Love has been rejected and banished to earth. Meanwhile - in Essex - glamorous reality TV star Natty has had some fetish items stolen that threaten to expose her relationship with rock star Baz to the media. Award-winning writer Chris Hannan’s moving, hectic and hilarious new play comes luridly to life on the streets of Soho, in a world of addiction to drugs and handbags, to flash-bulbs and tabloid exposure, and the overwhelming need for attention. The cast of loveable misfits includes Phil Daniels (Quadrophenia, A Clockwork Orange at the RSC, Eastenders, The Beggar's Opera at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre) playing Big God, Emma Pierson as Natty (Little Dorrit, Hotel Babylon) and Edward Hogg (Bunny and the Bull, White Lightnin' and Woyzeck at The Gate) as Baz.
