Gaze of the Pink City
A short documentary expose' into the people and faces that make up the city of Jaipur, in the northern parts of the Rajasthan area of India.
The project focus's on the human gaze in all its human splendor and explores the people that have so little, yet so much to give.
Also known as the Pink City, Jaipur is a bustling metropolitan haven and one of the fastest growing cities in the world with estimates of over 7 million people occupying its walled city and surrounding areas.
A place of warmth, struggle and intrigue. Its people are one of a spiritual and optimistic few. Who lead by example and walk to a beat of their own drum, as the country marches on to new forms of capitalistic independence and economic growth in the 21st century.
